Etihad and City announcement on 25/11/2024

It’s surely about the ten new travel routes that Etihad are planning, but maybe that ties in with a new 10 year sponsorship deal as well? Could be wishful thinking, but certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. City feature very heavily in that video after all, and the NYCFC stadium naming deal shows that the CFG/Etihad relationship isn’t ending anytime soon.

Would be a nice fuck you after today’s vote.

It’ll be something boring like a ten day trip to Abu Dhabi in a competition. But it’s a bit of a WUM by the club to wind up opposition fans for a few days haha
To celebrate Pep being here 10 years, City and Etihad have come together to create a souvenir tea towel.

Exchangeable for 10,000 air miles.

Even if it was The PL would just refuse it again and again. We are just going to have to get a deal from elsewhere or get the rule changed for good.

Etihad building new international airport on City campus offering Manchester to New York with a fixed price of £115 return for City fans.

All profits will be put into a new charity called the Piss Boiling foundation where Abu Dhabi bank will match the donations with added 115% interest rate which be returned to MCFC as a 'grass routes initiative'.

New routes definitely. Why else would the ‘tease’ mention travelling

Perhaps not really the right thread, as this announcement is probably nothing but the PL can’t just refuse any new Etihad deal outright, they will have to justify their reason for doing so. I think the recent case is a shot across their bows that they better be sure they’re on sound legal ground if they reject any future deal.
