Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

It'll blow over. It always does. Pep shouldn't have said anything but I think his comments have been exaggerated by many. Ferguson and Roy Keane are on record as making far more scathing comments about United fans as Pep has about ours. I know Baconface's comments in particular wound up a lot of Rags - "And now City fans have a new song thanks to Fergie!" was one quote I'll always remember following a Manchester derby one year

You’re bang wrong there pal. Super fan points are awarded by the Self Righteous Bluemoon Superfan Panel based on the following criteria, in order of importance;

1. Staying to the end of the match
2. Relentless participation in monotonous chants
3. Happyclapping Soriano’s decisions as he rips the heart and soul out of the club
4. Number of posts on Bluemoon

The more points you get the better your chances of reaching Superfan status.
Nil points !!

And now United fans have a 'new' song thanks to Pep.

What do you think doesn't he get? This isn't aimed at you specifically, but there are people talking about Pep the millionaire. He is the son of a bricklayer. His childhood neighborhood looks like a favela for fuck's sake. He is literally the rags to riches story of a working class man who worked hard and made it to the top. People giving him shit like he was born to a millionaire. "Oooh Pep doesn't get poverty, he doesn't know the hard life". What bollocks.

So Pep does.

So what's with the recurring veiled criticism, however he puts it, of our mainly working class support?

I've had it in my ear all morning in work from Rags who never go to a United match. If Pep hadn't said anything, they wouldn't have either, as City won 6-3, and United lost 2-1. But Pep did, when he didn't have to.

It's interesting how you can go to the same game as someone and both have completely different views on the atmosphere.

People from the club contacted me yesterday to say how loud they thought the atmosphere was at times and if we (1894) picked up on anything that might have lead to that.

It's all about where you sit.

Thick skin needed blues. It’s not like we don’t have the experience to handle this role created by the media to pander for the Rag/scouse twats.

City are massive, it must hurt them all so much.

I normally go to the evening cup games because I used to work in town, so it was easy to go to the game from work. Now I work from home I’ll pick and choose my games.

40,000 for a Championship League group game against an opposition that comes from pot 3 is not too shabby. The main people that are bothered by our attendances are opposition fans which says it all.
