I’d rather be able to see the match than spend 90 minutes trying to work out what’s happening through firework smoke. If I want to see fireworks I’ll look out of the window on November 5th or midnight on NYE.

Absolute bollocks. No doubt the government, police & tourists have sanitised most premier league atmospheres because it is the most commercially marketable product in football, with that said we’re a million years behind Europe because the fat Middle Aged Brit refuses to adapt and pats themselves on the back for creating an absolute embarrassment like todays atmosphere.
I’m all for bringing back the bananas. I’m not suggesting this is just a City problem, most top European clubs take the utter piss out of the premier league for its shit atmosphere and lack of passion. It shouldn’t take us going 1 up or having a shot to generate an atmosphere.
It's so important this atmosphere at European clubs that the rest of the world are paying billions to show it and their games.....oh wait a minute.
Just think what we could have won with a blue wall of noise behind us, maybe a quadruple, three titles out of the last four, eleven trophies in thirteen years, damn our silent fans!
