Superb effort from everyone, great turnout, at least 50k in there and a much better atmosphere. Take note City, lower the prices from the get go and get it rocking
A few by me in 109.. dont think they enjoyed themselves :)So were Leeds fans all over the stadium then?
Going for a piss just after 4-0, looked over the spiral and there were loads leaving.I think they were. We were 3 up against Arsenal earlier this season and loads left. Even at 7-0 thy were there until the end singing.
So were Leeds fans all over the stadium then?
Than you.109 take a fucking bow.
They were at their loudest after it went 6-0, fair play to those who stayed and showed vocal defiance in the face of a shitshow. We’ve been there and done it.Great atmosphere tonight, we’ll done Blues. Fair fuck to the Leeds fans too, they might be cunts, but they were noisy cunts
Same as you, I don’t hate Leeds. I see them as a similar club to City and I’d like them to stay up too. I was disappointed they’ve gone a bit small town/big day out giddy with their “is this a library” stuff, but they’ll reacclimatise to being a big club if they stay up, get some investment and expand the stadium. They were at their loudest after it went 6-0, fair play to those who stayed and showed vocal defiance in the face of a shitshow. Until thenI thought they were pretty average after a noisy start though. Seemed a bit shellshocked after it went 3-0 and they had their obligatory “hold me back” bouncing session with the old bill.
I must also say fair fucks about something else, I have never seen a visiting fanbase who to a man were so universally shitfaced staggering around the stadium before the game. One guy who could barely stay upright, can of Stella in hand, walked straight into a bin, bounced off and then sat there on his arse looking as dazed as if peak Tyson has unleashed fury on him.
His mates just carried on staggering up the way calling him a soft ****.
Best City atmosphere of the season, only PSG maybe came close. Kippax corner wind up merchants and SS1 both great. Even in the normally genteel 105 the old gits and the normally silent were singing.
I don’t share the dislike of Leeds many have on here. Like Geordies they are a one horse town which probably gives them elevated ideas about their status but they always bring numbers, create an atmosphere and we share a mutal hatred of a common enemy.
Their team and manager have a go and play the right way, unlike the cowardly bus parkers.
Hope they stay up and think they will once they get their injured players back. They offer a lot more to the league than the likes of Watford, Norwich and Burnley
and Wolves ?Hope they stay up and think they will once they get their injured players back. They offer a lot more to the league than the likes of Watford, Norwich and Burnley
From a purely parochial point of view I also liked it when there were a few more northern teams in the league than at present. Not just for awaydays but I liked the atmosphere when we used to play the Sheffield clubs, Sunderland, Boro for example. The season we first won the league we had Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan iirc?Same as you, I don’t hate Leeds. I see them as a similar club to City and I’d like them to stay up too. Well at least they try to play footballand Wolves ?
Hardly an empty seat ? Honestly dont get where you are coming from there were lots of empty seats !!!!!Brilliant turn out and ten times better atmosphere than Wolves game , got behind the team from the 1st minute and hardly an empty seat , and rewarded with a superb team performance , looking forward to the Leicester game hope they have saved a couple of goals for me on Boxing Day.
They didn't on Saturday, just spoiled and time wasted, I thought they were as bad as anyone. Just glad Bielsa hadn't seen it.Well at least they try to play football
I agree. It's easy to sing when 6 nowt down. It doesn't warrant a green beret.Great atmosphere all round
Leeds we’re piss poor on and off in that groun.
Facebook Leeds fans seem to think they were good and loud haha.
didn’t hear a peep.
you know they’ve had a bad day when the family stands mocking them for finally singing

Leeds fans were the quietest ever at our place. When you recall the brilliant atmosphere 6000 of them generated for that FA Cup tie for example. They are kidding themselves if they think otherwise. That said you can hardly blame them that their team didn't turn up.“Leeds fans unbelievable” as declared by Leeds fans on Twitter.
Didn’t sound like that to me, all I heard was the obligatory 10 minutes from the end, listen to us everyone, we’re so loyal Marching on Together (same as Villa singing for five mins the other week)
