Does look like the roof is going to be very close to heads on those back few rows.

Just an optical illusion. It's similar at the back of the current third tiers.

I noticed for the firs time yesterday that the supports to extend the present 3rd tiers have gone up, forgot about them extending those tiers.

Noticed on the way in 2 street artist types spraying/painting/ vandalising the side wall of the minihad with some sort of blue muriel

Had a chat with them coming out of the CFA after the fun day/U18 game. The whole design looks pretty good on the sketch and will look even better on the wall.

I've been following the expansion quite closely and not seen any mention of that?

How do you know Muriel was a Blue? Was she wearing a City top?

Are you sure it wasn't Muriel Gray?

Both East and CB stands at block 309 and 322 will have around an extra 10 seats added in each row to move the effect of those existing 3rd tiers toward the new South Stand 3rd tier. They won't connect of course because if the proposed new big TV screens.

Anyone who sits up against the concrete edge on the 3rd tier will tell you its was replaced in the summer with some temporary cladding in preparation for the through path to the new areas that may be renumbered, not confirmed, 310 & 321.

The supporting pillars have always been there so this was always, although perhaps individually too expensive, an option for an extra 200 or so seats in each stand.

If you look at the renders you will see that the current curve of the rear seats in the East and CB clearly stops and straightens out where these extra seats are shown.
