Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Threa

Bearing in mind there has been a mass exodus in the past week of long term season card holders from the ridiculously priced Level 2 seats, and we seem incapable of selling out most league games at 45k capacity at the moment I would hazard a guess the North Stand will be on hold.

The Summer review in Abu Dhabi should focus on how the current exec management have managed to lose all momentum and the worrying drop off in attendance at a time when so many new seats are soon to be available.

You're not the Prophet for nothing :-(

A new manager, a big signing, a much improved performance next season and everything takes a different complexion.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Threa

The membership scheme needs to be cheaper. I'm sorry but £30 should be the cost of a membership for a family of 4 not just 1 person. I refuse to go on the principle that if I attend a match of choice, I'm not paying £80 upfront(match ticket average + membership) and at least another £20 with travel/food included. I imagine every dad or man on a low wage would jump at the chance to fill that seat if adequately priced. But that's life.

This is news to me - Yes we have a reduced capacity to 45,500 at the moment - Why are you saying " incapable of selling out".?
All home league games are above 45K. 3 of the next 4 home games are against clubs from down south - Whu - Qpr -Southampton so I imagine they will not bring their full quota. -??. - plus the fact they are all Sunday games.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Threa

Noticed the whole back row 'R' of the south stand for West Ham has gone on sale in the last couple of days, have they been reinstated after being taken out for the expansion ?

Incapable might be wrong, but there are big gaps in the crowd even at "sold out" games, the seat next to my sister isn't a season ticket seat and has been free at least 50% of the games this season apart from the odd bewildered photographer

Someone posted in the season ticket relocation thread that he's being moved from the back row of the family stand next season due to it not existing anymore.

North Stand expansion?
not true i am on the back row of the family stand and have contacted the club to ask about that they said they have not heard any news on it so not to worry about being kicked out, i was going to move us ( four ) but was told not to, its a difficult one as needing 4 together would and is difficult, do i do it now or leave it till we are told to when there will be limited choice, we love our seats, and i like it because i can stand up with no mither.

I can't see them doing it straight away. We all know that it will be touch and go on how much of the stadium we fill with the south stand expanded. They're better to leave it a season, get the results on the pitch, build the enthusiasm back up and then start an expansion based on attendances. As has been mentioned, Pellegrini and our current performances are hardly inspirational - many that would have been interested may look at price and look at performances and walk away...

Games are not selling out. And that is not including the huge numbers of season card holders that have given up attending all but the games against the top 6. Look for the website message from City on Sunday that the game has sold out a few mins before kick off and a massaged attendance stat claiming a full house which we all know is bollocks. It pains me writing this but City have somehow managed to balls up the upward momentum.

The fact of the matter is last year games were selling out with a 47k+ capacity. With 2k less seats this year we ain't selling out, with many more season card holders seemingly jacked in attending.

Somebody needs to get their excuses sorted before the trip to Abu Dhabi to face the music.

Yes I agree "PofD" - you are quite right. The official attendance quoted by the club is "massaged".
All Sunday games in May - daft times - lunchtime - teatime etc.

It wouldn't surprise me if "PofD" and "Gray" shared the same IP address...
