Just been past the ground this morning and plenty of elevated platforms all busy putting up the new badge.

Could be worth a visit by JRB to keep our long distance fans in the "picture"

:-)

Going on Sunday. Will get there early doors and get some pictures.

Full planning application has gone in for the new ice rink. Docs weren't up last night.

Best I could do today...

I was called by City earlier in the week to see if I wanted to go corporate. I think the lady mentioned there was availability in the Cityzens and the Commonwealth areas.

I am staying where I am in 209. I mention this because it could be a factor in why the North Stand expansion hasn't been announced yet.

Just back from the CFA. A good talk made by Pete Bradshaw - Corporate Responsibility. In his presentation a picture of the stadium went up on screen with a wind turbine in the background. Someone asked about it afterwards. He said we want to produce our own power for the site and the turbine is back on the agenda. It's expected within the next two years but not at the location originally planned, which is where the Academy is.

Danny Wilson mentioned that there's a master plan in place for the East Car Park space thingy all the way round to the North side of the stadium. Probably not new info but it seems the club has a plan for that entire area, and it includes some form of car parking...

A multi-storey car park, charging a reasonable fee for match days, doubling as park and ride to City centre through the week, a nice little earner.

Without trawling through the thread I can't help but notice how stunning some of these French stadiums are from the outside, any plans at all to pimp the Etihad?

It's good if they are planning this, but dare I say...the club has been wanting to do this since several years before the ADUG takeover. If they've actually made serious progress then great, but it seems to be one of those plans which they always want to do but never actually get anywhere with.

The club needs to incorporate all the hot air and shit that comes from the press boxes, half of Manchester would be self sufficient. Especially with that fat slug Custis.

Got some pictures of the new badge on the Colin Bell main stand entrance, and on the souvenier store, which is currently having a refit. Will post the pictures tomorrow, along with some CFA pictures.

The wind turbine has never been planned for the academy site. It has always been positioned down near the gas canister in the north car park.

Just been told a new corporate area will be created in the current dressing room areas with a view of the players tunnel with the changing rooms being put on a floor above. The new corporate area will cater for 250 people and will have a view of the players tunnel. Sounds wacky.

Don't shoot the messenger if not true but source is good.

Sounds like an early Aprils fool one that ;-)
