Was staggered that there was a weed/ flower out of the base of the old concrete supports at the base of the roof system - hundreds of people working on site for nearly two years and not one person could be arsed pulling a weed out before 5000 people entered it for the first time. It really bugged me. Look at JRB's photos! If it is not gone for Sunday I am pulling it out myself.

I thought Exactly the same why hasn't the metal been jet washed either?

It's not that price all the time?Half price just tonight me thinks £1 for a bottle of Fanta/coke and £3 for a pint fosters..
Attention to detail left a bit to be desired might be me being a bit picky but the screws in the plastic urinals were not screwed in and on the stairs this tar like grey stuff covering a beam looked like it had been put on with the head of a turd. Not like the finish in the training complex...
Liked the 93:20 through the Glass and the"I swear you'll never see anything like this ever again! So watch it! Drink it in! Quote by Martin Tyler at the side It was lighting up blue as we left..

Leg room and view were great..
Still not got the larger speed pumps though:(

That's the one beam cheers jrb

Thanks jrb for all the time and effort you have put into bringing us some superb photo's firstly to do with the Etihad Campus and then the South stand, really do appreciate this mate and well done..................

The club have clearly had to rush things to get it all in place and quality has therefore been lost in some of the finishes. I'm sure they'll do their best to rectify any snag items that crop up, they'll want the place to look as good as we would expect it to with the team in place. The academy was fantastic and when all is done, I'm sure the South Stand will be too.

Bring on the North Stand, if only to keep jrb busy!

As posted earlier the new ticket office windows were still being cleaned as they were handing out the tickets !

Its fire protection - not paint
Just a quick question for you Worsley as you seem to know about the stadium looking at the pictures is it planned to move the players dugout further forward and along as they carnt see the pitch now from their current position ?

No - and I am pretty certain they can see the pitch - the level of the dugouts has not changed - the "levelling on that side has bee very cleverly done". The extra 3 rows have not happened 2 or 3 blocks either side of the dugout. There are some issues with the seats around the access tunnel that may involve some concrete coming back out as it does not quite work and will take a few weeks more. ps - the pitch is 8cm lower than last year.

I work for a national housebuilder, whilst we would never sell an incomplete property, many of our rivals have been known to occupy plots without connecting the main services. It happens. It also gets sorted...eventually ;)
