Planning application gone in for "Repositioning and installation of 28 mobile units for use for catering, retail and merchandise around the perimeter of the Etihad stadium" including #CityPulse

I do hope this isn`t the New Phase 3 that everyone was going mental over. ;)

Doubt it with all the problems they've had at the swamp with an east-west stadium and the amount of light let in. The likes of city and Arsenal pride ourselves on the quality of the playing surface

Probably just enough room over the athletics stadium. Asda have never received an offer for the site and won't be entertaining one either.

Would love john steno to come out and update us on the north stand. I.e likelihood of it happening soon etc. seems mad that with peps arrival we didn't plan to get to 60000 by then.

We don't need a new stadium, I like the Etihad just fine, looks great to me, could be expanded and perhaps tided up a bit for the shoddy bits done on the south stand expansion but I expect they plan on doing that, after the north stand expansion they can sort the roof out properly and the rest will be easy to smooth out.

A new stadium is miles off 20 years or so... you heard it here first.

The plans have always been for incremental developments of the stadium and surrounding area.

The CFA took up 2 years of development time and money and I suspect the Collar Site will come after the next stand at the Etihad, but I think they should snag the work they have done to date before they move on.
