Sergio’s last game prompted lots of reruns of the QPR game. Every time it comes on I’m struck by the beautiful pitch.

Nearly as bored as the exterior of the venue.

Looks outstanding inside but my word what a dull looking building for all the money put into it.

I don't know much about this project but looking at the pictures, I think they clearly didn't want this arena to take the attention away from our stadium.
Also given the huge cost, I believe they have focused more on the interior which would give a pleasant surprise for anyone visiting.

It will be seats that can be bolted up for standing, if and when it’s allowed.

I’m sure this is an old picture of them setting up for a concert. I think they take the seats out to accommodate the stage. And the flooring seems the same as they use at gigs too

Stage is at the north stand, that’s the south.

Had a trip to Etihad Monday morning before meeting up with my sister, to say I was disappointed with the underfoot conditions around the stadiums would be understating the fact. Not a thing has been done during the past months when the stadium was out of use, sorry to knock City but someone should be held responsible for the stadium upkeep.

That red lot tried this some years ago. Total failure. The attendances at M/cr Giants which they bought halved. Something to do with blues who couldn't stomach the idea of supporting a rag venture. Showed the strength of City support.

Does anyone know what’s happening to the canal towpath by the stadium? I use the Ashton canal to cycle to work and it’s a bit of a bastard now they’ve boarded it up. It’s blocked off from just past the Etihad into new Islington.

Anything to do with the arena construction?
