Won one of those stadium tours in a competition for this weekend. Does anybody know if they show you around any of the new building bit or tell you about the campus? (a presentation, scale model, etc) Think it would be pretty interesting.

And I'll make sure I keep my eyes peeled for any documents lying around labelled "secret new stadium plans, strictly not for bluemoon eyes" ;)

£2-90 seems fair for a return to the station ! taxi costs me £5-40 to and from so will save me some money this Tram..

Yeah they tell you all about it at the start of the tour show you a model of it then a big picture on the wall and tell what each pitch is for what team ie first team and eds team. It's really good.

Make sure you buy the return before you travel or you'll pay £3.00 for a special event ticket, no change you see.

Not sure I'm impressed with the Etihad Campus station.
Walking across the track to get back to Manc seems a little danger mouse to me (even with Metrolink personnel controlling the number of people who can get down to platform level.

There's no need to cross the track if you're going back in to town, there could be danger for fans arriving if someone legs it back over the track because they've forgot something but I'd imagine the marshalls won't let the tram leave until everyone is well clear.

The trams will run through Victoria which is where Leeds fans travelling by train will arrive (I think) could be chaos with Blues getting on at Piccadilly.
