EON are already based at the Sharp project in Newton Heath, developing the collar site into into an interactive learning attraction would be fantastic idea as well as help out on FFP.

EON won't be involed due to the new energy partner

I think EON reality and EON are not part of the same company so hopefully there will be no conflict of interest.

If you were going to invest in energy infrastructure you wouldn't want the name of a competitor linked to it in anyway.

May be a different entity but there is no way they will be allowed to put their name on the campus

Wasn't there a post in here a while a go that said they were supposed to be putting up screens on the outside of the ground for projecting adverts players onto etc.

Have they taken out any leaks per chance (relating to anything ADUG City related)??

Cheers for posting JRB. Some interesting titbits from this years MIPIM...I think this city is going to 'kick on' somewhat over the next decade.

EON reality was a great coup for East Manchester & the Sharp Project...more of that please.

From what I understand...

The initial short term fix is to create a small extension in each of the corners (see picture). This will probably be done in the summer. Source was someone who was originally asked to look at expanding the stadium within the existing structure.
