David Silva has been voted Etihad Player of the Month for a record third time.
The Spanish playmaker has become an integral part of Roberto Mancini’s team following his summer move from Valencia and is now a firm favourite with the City fans.
Silva continued his rich vein of form through December with a series of superb performances, particularly against Bolton, West Ham and Aston Villa where he was at the heart of three excellent team displays.
The Spain star polled 43% of the votes for December, with Vincent Kompany in second with 14% and Mario Balotelli third with 12%.
Duncan Wilde from Hyde in Cheshire was the winning entrant in the Etihad Player of the Month competition and will present the award to David in the next few days.
