The hotel is attached to the stadium so I assume they want to standardise the floors as 0 = ground level, 1 = first floor etc as is normal in the UK hotels. Is it a fire brigade stipulation perhaps? Wouldn’t want someone saying they’re on the 2nd floor and the fire brigade getting lost.

All row 1s have become row 4s so they are the same, even though areas never had the extra 3 rows A,B&C close to the dugouts in CB1/CB0, but the wings that stand still do.

I've just had an email back from City, apparently it was an error in the automated emails. Probably not taking into account certain rows not existing.

We should get another email later today with the correct information.

Typical city lives on! I feel more at one with myself. The day they get anything right at first time of asking I might have to go and look for another club to support

I sit in 306 Row T, but the email I received states I sit in Row S. Hope it's not a wholesale error as it will be carnage at the 1st game of the season

Think it is...error on mine too.

Although it should be expected...City messing up once again on the IT front....can't say it fills me with confidence with the all the new tech they are planning to install especially at the turnstiles!

mmmm...I'm not in 212 now 112 but pretty sure it was all home and maybe segregation. However, if this is a real change I would presume at least one person affected would have posted
previously when advised of change at renewals?

This came to mind thinking of the floors.

0 floor family stand.
1st floor safe standing section and GA+ seats.
2nd floor Hotel restaurant seating.
Hotel access all floors.

No they were going to but left it. The extra space is where the equipment and the TV crews etc are sited. All their equipment would have been too close to the pitch. It’s just by the away team’s coaches and manager.

Wonder if it’s a ploy to get more teams to return the top tier ? Happens several times a season already & there’s been a fair few empties up there in the last season or two, I know it’s only a couple of hundred seats (the apparent new away seating in 112) but it would take it to around 2k without the top tier, and make it a bit more palatable to the likes of Palace & Bournemouth

So I'm row R and they think I'm row Q and they have put me down as row 15, but R is the 18th letter of the alphabet.

FFS make it make sense

yet I was in row X, now row 24. X is the 24th letter, so how does that work with the apparently missing rows I, O and Q?

This reminds me of the floor system they have at Manchester Airport.

You get in the lift, look at the guide and then think WTF.

I normally get out on what ever level seems popular and hope for the best.

positive for this is row change from letters to numbers. in 3rd tier East we had people getting turnstile letter confused with row resulting in tourist sitting in season ticket holder seats. All polite but caused utter confusion especially in champions league games.

But there is little change in the third tier, so fully expect to play and win the 'who will I find sitting in my seat tonight' game

We didn't even use block numbers when we started there, just the nearest aisle, which in over 50% of cases differs from the block it changed to, with some aisles never becoming blocks.
