Just a thought if these rumors are based on fact and we are very close to signing Eto'o

does this mean that the Villa deal is going to be dropped

My way of thinking is that the owners will not have put all the eggs in one basket and if they have decided to get a top top class striker. To me that would involve generating a list something like

Torres
Villa
Eto'o
Tevez
etc

and basically telling Cook we want one of these no matter what

and basically doing the same thing for a world class midfielder and goal keeper (if Ajays info is correct)

The interesting thing is what happens if we get 2 of the players say on the striker list that says yes ............ will the owners think excellent and pay out for both or will they say to Hughes "you can have Eto'o or Villa, which do you want the most"

by the way I'd love to have either of these guy signing up

Forget any and all of the names above, they are not coming anywhere near us at the moment....currently we'll be lucky to get RSC and Diarra.........it's time to stop dreaming and end this Transfer forum nightmare as it's becoming f***ing silly.
