I guess if you take Tevez's comments about him having no more than 3 years in Europe as gospel, Tevez + cash for Eto'o doesn't sound so mad, but it's still mad. Both will probably give you 3 years but Eto'o is the better striker who will almost certainly give you the least bother and almost certainly (though it's not a hard feat to accomplish) has an agent who is far less of a ****.

I don't think a straight swap would be outside the realms of possibility. Only if as I say though, you take his 3 year comment as gospel. Otherwise the fact he's 3 years younger should drastically swing the price in his favour as he'll actually have a resale value.

He's 30 and it would represent a very poor deal for us. Eto'o is a top player but coming to the Prem at this stage of his career on huge money is a risk i don't think City would take.

If we could set up a more realistic transfer that could potentially include Adebayor or Jo then i'd be all for it.

Ok ok maybe not Jo but Adebayor has shown he is capable of performing for one of the biggest clubs in the world this year and is a top goalscorer - it's not inconceivable that Inter would'nt be interested in him
