Apparently its frowned upon to ask for chips & gravy in their chip shops, so let's compile a list of do's & don'ts so they don't think we are lowlife.... Ask all questions here, I'll start.... Will I get put in the tower if I take a pick-axe & chip away at the streets that are paved with gold........

a few years ago when i went down to london to watch city at chelski stopped for the weekend and went in a chippy for some dinner,asked for meat & potato pie chips peas and gravy and the bird behind the counter actually said to me dont be disgusting.Also they had never heard of a meat and potato pie.Weird lot them cockerneys
