A number of blues will have already heard about this player, who has featured in a couple of EDS games for us. Looks like he is here to be evaluated for a future sale? Sounds odd. Anybody know what arrangement, if any, we have with Newell Old Boys?

Newell's Old Boys director Jorge Ricobelli has confirmed the Argentinean outfit have sent teenage starlet Eugenio Isnaldo to Manchester City for a trial.

Ricobelli told Cruz del Sur, that City had requested first option to sign the 17-year-old prospect.

He added: "The kid [Isnaldo] has gone to play in a tournament, and do a kind of trial so that he can be viewed.

"If they like him, an agreement will be signed through Newell's in which the club will receive a sum of money."

However, Ricobelli stressed the club would not be pressurised into a sale, stating: "Please make it clear that this kid will play in the Newell's first-team.

"The only thing that Manchester City are doing is assuring the possibility of matching a future offer when the player is ready to be sold."

We are buying his option. Its a great move by the club. Essentially what is happening is that City no longer wish to be caught in bidding wars against the likes of Real or Barca. So we are essentially agreeing to a buyout clause and will be offered the player when its time to sell. The only issue with these clauses is that if they want to sell the player before we want to buy then we'll have spent 150k in vain. But its a small price to pay compared to 5-10 mil in battles over a player.

From the video, I like his close control, his touch and his ability to beat players. Hopefully we will sign him now, and bring him when he complete 18 years old.

The more Argies the better.
I too dream of the day when we can become the Catania of English football.

A small shit Italian side?
How dare you, Catania's squad is almost 50% Argentine, plus an Argentine manager, as the above post says, the more Argies the better. Catania are clearly the best side in Europe.

Who does he remind you of? Don't lie, you know it!!! :P

He is so like Pastore and Lamela, it is not even funny. Buy the little Pastore/Lamela. I am excited. A young version of my 2 favorite argies :)
