Alou Diarra

I've really been impressed with him in the Euros. He's a 6ft 3 powerhouse. Had most of the England frontline and midfield in his pocket the other night and looks like he can get on the end of most set plays. Can play as center back or defensive midfielder. Yeah, he's 30 but ticks lots of boxes. You could get him for 5m and the wages will be half of what Adebayor currently takes home. If NDJ goes and Martinez is a non starter, I wouldn't be disappointed if this fella plied his trade here for a few seasons.
