Why do they need a plan B then?
I didn't say they did?
If Rakitić (I think?!) had headed that great chance down into the ground instead of straight at Casillas, Spain wouldn't have even qualified through the Group Stage. They haven't been good in this tournament.moomba said:When plan A is so effective, who gives a fuck about plan B?
I think I heard today that they have won 50 of 57 matches under Del Bosque. How can anyone criticise that?
So is everyone's. Hardly anyone ever scores from a free kick.adrianr said:Why do the commentators get all excited when Ronaldo gets a free kick 30 yards out? His conversion rate is fucking awful!
Because like they say, it's riveting. The build up, the arsing around etc. I watch it and wonder what the fuck will happen. It's good viewing.adrianr said:Why do the commentators get all excited when Ronaldo gets a free kick 30 yards out? His conversion rate is fucking awful!

In the 54 matches previous to this tournament they were great to watch. Fast paced, incisive, as good as it gets.
This is not as good as it gets.
When you've seen how good they can be, you will compare them to that all the time.

moomba said:So when you said "Spains issue is that they don't have a plan B", what exactly were you referring to?
That's true. But it is the BBC. There's a caveman co-commentating tonight.adrianr said:danburge82 said:If Rakitić (I think?!) had headed that great chance down into the ground instead of straight at Casillas, Spain wouldn't have even qualified through the Group Stage. But they rarely start bashing one out when anyone else gets one. They make it sound like he's taking a penalty!
