Mancini has got the Italians well drilled and they look a proper good unit. They’ve got a good mix of experience and youth, so they get my vote. France have got the best line up, but that doesn’t always mean they’re the best team. England have got a bright future with numerous of stars coming through but I think they will come short, possibly because of Southgates tactics.

No need for a poll. Walker, Stones, Foden and Sterling have already been pre-selected as 'England scapegoats'.

I don't care much for the dull Southgate. He is most likely the reason why we won't win the competition.

Doesn't feel like a proper tournament.
With the number of countries involved in hosting, it feels like a range of glorified friendlies with a trophy at the end.

I think France will win it now they have Benzema back. Mbappe, Benzema and Griezmann is the best forward line in the tournament.
Italy don’t concede goals, so could we’ll do very well.
Belgium’s progress will hinge on how much KDB can play.
Portugal may be hindered by having to play the fake Ronaldo. He was dreadful against Spain in their last match. Andre Silva should be playing for them, but they can’t upset their aging prima donna.

Anyone else think this will be a real shit tournament, with players virtually burnt out after just finishing their domestic seasons. I'd be amazed if any City player stood out, and I wouldn't be at all arsed if they were rested totally in these first group matches
