I’ve also said to anyone who would listen that I think he is the best defensive midfielder the Premier League has ever seen.
Better than Keane, Vieira, Fernandinho, Kante, Makelele and even Javi Garcia.
Kvaratskhelia for me.
Rodri has been superb, but Kvaratskhelia was unplayable at times.
Kvaradona was 2nd on my list after Godri.
It would be between Rodri and Vieira for me, but for the fact Rodri doesn't lose his head as much as Vieira does he probably gets the nod.I agree, Rodri, has been brilliant.

Ignored by the press and media in this country yet acclaimed around the world. Sounds familiar with City being involved. What a shitshow the media of this country are, greatest midfielder in the world and they would rather he be gone instead of gracing the PL.

Some excellent performances through the tournament.
BVeen impressed with Hernandez (FR), the guy next to Rodders in midfield (Olmos?), Ake, Dumfries, Kamavinga, blonde Turkish centre forward and last but by no means least, Yamal.
