Not sure what Liverpool did price wise to promote the game, but to be honest 40k for the game was excellent I thought. Yes it will be hard for travelling fans to make both games, but for locals like myself it should be possible, unless work gets in the way, why don’t we all go and watch it live and take the next generation of fans with us, lets not let them all end up being armchair or pub fans like the green and yellow brigade.
For big prem games tickets are going to get harder and harder to get, these cup games are the best chance for some non ST holders to watch a live game, maybe I am to optimistic, but 40,000 plus would be superb
