Euro 2nd leg TV coverage?

Liverpool had 40,000 and Celtic 36,000 last night let's hope we can get well over 30,000 for this match. Kids are £5 and free food in the family stand so they are trying and not a school day either.
Not sure what Liverpool did price wise to promote the game, but to be honest 40k for the game was excellent I thought. I beleive the Celtic game give 1000's away to SC holders so thats how they got 36k.
I think we might be looking at 27-29k, haven't heard how sales are going but kids for a fiver and free food is an excellent marketing idea.

not sure it will be on tv, the club might stream it the os maybe, we are definatly going to the game, they have to come at us so should leave gaps. 5-0.

There is absolutely no chance the club will stream a home game on the official site.

Maybe what they do for American Football should be done over here. They don't broadcast games live in the local area until a certain percentage of tickets are sold, maybe as high as 95%. I know it isn't an ideal solution but only this week the cricket people were moaning that there was too much cricket on TV! First Oval Test not to be sold out on first day since 1986!

Sod TV it's killing the game.....get bums on seats!!
BEST POST OF THE DAY.
Exactly, don't mind it when people say "is it on TV" if its an away game, especially in Romania against a team we've never heard. :S which is hardly exciting.

Nothing would give me greater satisfaction than going to coms every game but due to the fact that I live in Ireland now I cant, does that mean I shoyuldnt be able to watch the team i have followed for over 40 years.
?

Liverpool Mon,

Europa Thursday

Yes it will be hard for travelling fans to make both games, but for locals like myself it should be possible, unless work gets in the way, why don’t we all go and watch it live and take the next generation of fans with us, lets not let them all end up being armchair or pub fans like the green and yellow brigade.

For big prem games tickets are going to get harder and harder to get, these cup games are the best chance for some non ST holders to watch a live game, maybe I am to optimistic, but 40,000 plus would be superb

It'd be bloody amazing with level 3 closed! Capacity is around 36/37k without Level 3.

Apparently it is being shown live at a 48,000 seater venue in East Manchester.
Also in 4-D smellosound including smell of Balti pies, farts from the old guy in front, all inclusive weather effects and an almost tangible air of excitement.

Plus - you don't need your 'realvision' 4-D 2 Ronnies glasses neither.

That isn't going to happen, the top tiers are shut.

surely we must be on, its a joke if not.

you would think that as a channel you would broadcast the city games, as neutrals maybe more inclined to watch city rather than the dippers or villa's kids?

the mind boggles...

Perhaps the tv companies have decided that there's more chance of a shock result at their games?

I know its City, but perhaps they've decided that we're in a relatively strong position in the tie? A sign of changing times?

There's problems with the intenet site by all accounts.

I have been speaking to supporter services.

Think if any home game is going to be shown live it should not be possible to get coverage in the local area - not sure how that could be done though,I know Italy tried something.

Would get the next generation to the ground and help peops like you.
