They 2d place in 2009/2010 Portuguese league was a sheer luck and the fact that aforementioned leaders were undergoing generation changes in their squads (and sold some of the leaders to European top clubs).

Yes, they are good (nice selection of Brazilian legionaries) and shouldn't be underestimated, but they are the best draw possible at this stage.
