City and West Ham fans sang that in unison at the London Stadium. Nothing wrong with them singing that. They were champions of Europe in the competition they entered.

Let’s not get all big-headed and raggy.

In the competition yes, but to be champions of the continent properly, you need to win the top tier contest.

Still incredibly happy for Olympiacos. Two years since a trophy is like a long wait for them and they ended it with European success.

Conference League is much better than the FA Cup. Okay, you get a non league team under the spotlight and everything once a season and that's brilliant, but we know they won't win the thing, it's always someone from the old division 1 or the Premier League and has been since 1981. With this competition, almost anyone in it, can win it.

I do admit that and it was brilliant, I was rooting for them to win and hated all that stoppage time being added on in the final, but saying you are Champions of Europe by winning it, is pushing it a bit.

You don't see supporters of whoever wins for example League 1 every season, saying Champions of England, they just say league champions.

It’s football songs. So when City sang champions of Europe, the hammer are supposed to sing, champions of the Europa conference league? No. City and hammers fans sang champions of Europe in unison, because that’s what they were.
