I remember when we first got into europe having grown up with us in division 2 it seemed like an impossibility so I can fully appreciate your fans loving it but I'm not entirely sure it's a net positive for the club. Everytime I've seen you play you look out on your feet down and to the bare bones.

Going out, not having more games and being able to concentrate on the league might not have been the worst thing for you. It's often underestimated how big of an advantage no European football is.
 
Absolutely bouncing at Anfield tonight had to turn sound down on telly :-) yet another penalty converted. them myth merchants have the cheek to call atmosphere at the Etihad.
 
Brighton should have dropped down into the Conference League. Another season, another one with no major trophies, just waxing lyrical about finishing 6th.

At my last job one of the guys there was a Brighton supporter and got belittled by his boss because they only won lower league titles to their name, nothing graded as major while she supported Chelsea. I would love Brighton to win something to shut her up, but progressing in the Europa won't win anything but a better TV rights pay packet, while trophies are more remembered.

Sevilla can still drop into it and still win yet again. Brighton won't win the Europa, they should have tried to finish 3rd.
