I went to bed when it went to extra time (5am here). I fully expected to wake up to a rag win, so this is a pleasant surprise. Although I do feel like that penalty shootout was taking the piss out of our penalty record. 11 players who can score a penalty ffs. We don't have one.

I was like that yesterday, but fuck it. They're getting it big time today and if things don't go our way on Saturday my reply will simply be 'ah well, i'll have to just settle for the 2 trophies'.

They’ve been beaten off the Spanish equivalent of Burnley after spending how much in the past few seasons? They deserve digging out for this, City are premier league champions anything else here on in is a bonus.
