I'm finding it hard not taking he piss out them. I had all sorts of wind-ups ready for the whole Thursday Cup on a Wednesday thing. It's tempting fate though for Saturday. So all I will say is whoever thought we'd see a day where they are in the final of this cup and we are in the final of the big cup. Amazing.

Hoping Emery can keep up his great record in the UEFA Cup, but think United will win fairly comfortably. On the bright side, it should make Solsjkaer’s position more secure for the time being.

I look forward to the BT pundits and commentary team making constant references to the cost of the Rags starting line up compared to Villareal’s. Later on they will be mentioning the cost of the Rags bench whilst they will the plucky Spanish upstarts to cause an upset whilst regularly informing us all how they should play to get the underdog win we should and they all not so secretly want to happen.

Oh wait....

Snap.

Lets be honest, they should win comfortably and no doubt a soft penalty will be awarded at some stage.

When they dropped into the EL by being complete failures in their CL group, i said at the time it would actually be harder for them not to win it than win it, its like us dropping into League One with our current team and celebrating winning promotion. Embarrassing.

Teams who finish 3rd in the CL should not drop into another competition because of failure.

What will/Will not happen tonight:
1) No Mention of the cost of the Rags team or players
2) No price comparison between the 2 line ups
3) No mention of how average the opposition are.
4) A soft penalty at some stage for the Rags
5) No sense of embarrassment by any Rags when they win the trophy with their 400-500 million 1st team beating a very average Real Sociedad, sneaking past an OAP average team missing its best player v Milan, beating an awful Grenada, assisted by a dive for a penalty, and beating an average Roma team who collapsed with injuries and were still in the game till yet another dive for a penalty.
