No, they don't. The English league is the most entertaining league in the world, nobody can dispute that and that's what is meant by the "best league in the world" line.

There are a fair few great games better than any other league, indeed. Chelsea v Spurs and West Ham v United in the last few weeks does not get beaten for excitement by any league anywhere, absolutely brilliant! This season though, there's been a huge lack of those sort of games.
I think we have the third or fourth best quality top sides in Europe.
Germany has more fans.
