Europa League Final

Not even our children being slaughtered 48 hours before could stop them from leaving it alone for ONE night. This is what happens when you have no affinity with a City. They make me fuckin sick!

They're celebrating not being insignificant for a moment, and then it was gone.

Gone? Not in my mind mate. They're full of fuckin shit and always have been.

Success means nothing to them unless they've got someone's face to rub it in. They can have their 'celebration' 48 hours after our kids were slaughtered (albeit I see it as wholly inappropriate), but why bring City into it?

Scum full stop

Horrible club

That's tonight? Wow. Utterly disgraceful.

Compare that with what our club tweeted (which has been slagged by many of our own fans, but fans of all kinds of other clubs are heavily praising us for it). Personally don't understand the reason for the #, they could have left the badges out and would have been better tweeting it before the game.

This quote from the Ajax manager is quite reminiscent of what Pep said a few weeks/ months back.

Pep said he realised that in the Premier League it is pointless pressing teams that don't want to play as they just hoof it up the pitch and fight for the second balls.

It's not their problem if a team can't work out how to beat it though. We can take the piss out of them for it but football is about winning things and I don't really understand these shoddy excuses trotted out - it glosses over the other manager's failure in my opinion.

Morning all didn't watch the game as had to be up at this ridiculous hour for work, from the stuff I've just read on here and tweets I've just seen they are the scum off the earth. How anyone could want to follow that club is beyond me, anyway let them have their moment of glory , when they play a decent team in the champions league they will be shown up for the shite team they are I hope this morning the players and club as a whole are proud of themselves

There's always goin' to be a good or bad side - wherever you are. I've not had any gloating despite being in a rag pub. Leave it alone for tonight - rise above it as it means very little in the grand scheme of things. They're not even our rivals FFS so there's cock all to get upset over!

It will be different for everyone wont it... personally:

To move the ball around, to create space, to create chances... to entertain with attacking intent from start to finish. I love the fact that we never set up defensively even against the most attacking teams that would scare most of the prem, have you ever seen us do that this season no matter who we are up against? That's something to be proud of... biggest balls in the PL.

I love the fact we play attacking football but to just never alter it ever is just madness
I'm sure we could handle a little less gung Ho in the odd game when called for
Ask Jimmy White if he regrets not playing safe from time to time while he's sat with no world title
But hey the public love him

It's all well and good they they've added to their cabinet or made CL or whatever -- congratulations to them for winning a trophy in a tournament we weren't poor enough to be in. If they want to crow about who's had a better year, fine. Is there anyone who would trade their side for ours man for man? I wouldn't. I s there anyone who believes they can restock so dramatically while City fails to that they could have a better squad than we do at summer's end? Barring a raft of injuries, I don't. Let them have their fun; let them big themselves up. I suspect they will find next season just a s great a challenge as this one has been.
Found it quite amusing tbh, i can smell the fear from here, the only true barometer over a season for me is the table, we finished 19 points a head of them whilst underachieving for much of it, not sure I can see the gap closing anytime soon, so enjoy your little bit of time in the sun raggy's winter is coming.
