How can a goal from a direct free kick be described as open play?
Celtic-Lazio a decent game, big Phil Caicedo still quality. Reminds me of a game a few years ago when Juve played at Celtic park and spent the whole game game timewasting, rolling around on the floor and holding from corners, was the most irate I've ever heard a crowd get. Italian sides sure know how to wind up Celtic supporters.
Just scored his second from open play with another free kick. Ian Darke hasn’t mentioned it yet.I was only half listening, so may have this wrong. Did Ian Darke just say that was Pepe's first goal from open play for Arsenal? Since when was a free kick "open play"?
No you're not wrong I said the same to my missus.I was only half listening, so may have this wrong. Did Ian Darke just say that was Pepe's first goal from open play for Arsenal? Since when was a free kick "open play"?

Does Emery even coach the players?
