Europa League Games 25/2/16(Full draw page 78)

Yeah they have runners everywhere, Coutinho running the show, their defence is awful though.

Trouble is it's very difficult to put any sort of meaningful pressure on it. Their midfield is so tenacious they get back and cover for the centre halves fairly easily. The way to beat these bastards is to sit deep and then hit them with big, powerful counterattacking players (sample Bolasie, Sakho, Wijnaldum, Sissoko), but they're largely of a type we don't have. Sturridge and Coutinho are a constant fucking menace, with unbelievably quick feet. They make something happen every time they touch the ball. We can't afford any passengers on Sunday or they will arse rape us just like they did in the league

Hope Pellegrini's watching, plenty of balls in behind for Sterling and Aguero and this lot will be all over the place. They try and win it back in the oppositions half and they're pretty good at it but they've looked vulnerable when the midfield are bypassed.
what makes you think Pellers would watch this match? he knows our line up, christ he already knows when he will make his subs

Can't disagree with that, we almost have to approach the game as the underdog and play the way Leicester played against us, which means Sterling and Aguero doing what Vardy does. Either that or our passing & movement needs to be fast and accurate like Barcelona. It would be extremely naive of Pellegrini to approach this game without taking in mind the opposition saying that his middle name is naive.

This Augsburg team are the perfect pratice for SUnday. They are playing exactly like us and turning the ball over all the time

Rumours are United's attendance will be below 50k tonight, wonder whether that gets mentioned BT...

Yup. And their pressing is absolutely merciless. The number of times they've won the ball back within 2 or 3 seconds of losing it tonight has been astonishing
