Pheweeeeeeeeeeee!!! Jeez they gave us a game tonight, great to get through though. Rui Patricio was my MOTM, kept us in that one.
I got a bit emotional thinking back to July 2019, 379 days ago, watching us on a baking night against Crusaders and none of us knowing what was in store both in terms of football and also the world.
7 years ago tonight we were in League One and lost in the cup to Morecambe, its these kinds of peaks and troughs that plastics will never understand.
Sevilla will be very tough on Tuesday night and we need to bw better than tonight but for now, I'm just happy that we are still in it.
Only another 15 days to go!

Podence picked up a silly booking for not taking quickest route off the pitch and will be a huge miss, as will Jonny if he is injured after tonight.

He is such a humble and dignified man with such an aura about him. He is the most important cog in the Wolves machine, more so than any player

Pressure was the decisive factor psychologically tonight. The desire was there, so was lack of experience of European football, plus wolves were favorites - and rightly so. All that led to a situation difficult to handle and a nervous performance, well below their standards, giving that disgrace of a club chances to get back into the game. Patricio, Moutinho (hats off to him, he will remain a reliable professional till the very last day before retirement) and Jimenez (basically for his fighting spirit) probably the only decent performances individually...
I was expecting a complicated game, still I expected more from Wolves. Nevertheless the team made a step forward, so well done. Congratulations for the victory and good luck with the rest of the tournament.
