Europa League Last 32

Why is our captain reprimanding one of our players on national TV? Wouldn't your intent to be to diffuse the situation, not fuel the fire?

Now we know what the story line will be in the lead-up to Southampton.

It's poor preparation from the manager. Rodgers should have let the squad know that if Mario is in the game he takes the kick (if Stevie G doesn't fancy it).
Gerrard was bang out of order airing his condemnation of a teammate (Mario) in public through the ITV pundit lounge.
Anyone (I'm biased) in football given a choice of Sturridge, Henderson or Balotelli to take a (pressure) penalty would choose Mario.
Gerrard seriously lacks Frank Lampard's respectful punditry.

Three or four grown men arguing over who is going to take a penalty. Pretty pathetic stuff really. Balotelli is the more reliable penalty taker, hence he gets the job and scores the goal. Talkshite currently going mad about it to bait Scousers to call in.

Because he's a bellend.

Shirley it can't have taken you this long to realize that?

Dijk looks like he was responsible for 2 of the Inter 3 goals. Along with there keeper gordon

Well your wrong! Izaguirre should have tracked Shaqiri, and then Gordon should have got his angles right. Then Izaguirre smacked a clearance against Virgil and it dropped to Palacios. Then Gordon should have let a long ball from Shaqiri go behind, but tried to catch it and dropped the ball to the feet of Palacios. So Gordon and Izaguirre wer to blame for the goals.

Actually for the most part Virgil and Jason defended the one on ones well. The only good thing is that the Inter defence was as bad.

I have a feeling Everton are going to go far in this competition.

They look a good cup team and have enough quality to beat the best this competition has to offer in my opinion, plus they don't have a chance of getting top 4 and have too much quality to worry about relegation so they can put all their focus on the Europa League.'

Spurs should have played their best team tonight but this is the thing with them and Liverpool, I am not convinced they will balance challenging for 4th and winning the Europa to get CL football that well.
