The play off round on 19th August and 26th August.
Then 6 games in the group stage, 3 home and 3 away.
Then last 32, last 16, qf, sf and then the final in Dublin on May 18th!
We'll be there!!!!

Yeah, 5th and 6th go to the play-off round, 7th place goes to the 3rd qualifying round.

wiki tells me the clubs are separated by seeded and nonseeded based on club coefficient. Either way it shouldn't be taken lightly, Villa and Zenit lost in last years playoff round to Rapid Wien and Nacional respectively, not even getting to the groups would be the ultimate embarassment.
The Europa League will be fun! Of course it means more matches but more City is great and we'll be on TV a lot. I love watching us in Europe. That game in Scandinavia somewhere, at what looked like a Sunday league ground, was surreal. We scored with seconds to go, Corluka's last match wasn't it?

His last match was 3-0 at Sunderland the day before transfer deadline, but papers reported the winning pen would be his last kick in that Midgey game.

It doesn't as not all qualifiers are known. For example if teams like liverpool get through to our round we move down the pecking order.
