can you put that in working class manchester words please.......thanks ;)

if we win our play-off match and nothing stupid happens in the CL final qualifying round, we'll be in pot 2.

thank you very much.......can we draw anyone from above list none seeded tomorrow?

think i read right we can

Utterly confused. Of that list of non-seeded teams, when do we find out which group we're in? Before the draw or as part of it?

"Draw format: The 74 clubs are divided into seven groups for the draw – five of ten teams and two of 12. Within the seven groups an equal number of sides will be seeded and unseeded in accordance with the club rankings established at the beginning of the season. A ball will be taken from each of the bowls containing seeded and unseeded teams, and placed in a large empty bowl in the middle where they will be shuffled. The first club drawn will play its first match at home and sides from the same association cannot be drawn against each other."

no, no, no. the pots and seedings are the Group Stages, which is the round after the play-off round. The play-off round draw is tomorrow and is a straight 2-legged knockout, where 1 seeded team is put in a bowl with a non-seeded team and then 1 ball of the 2 is picked at random to select who is home in the first leg. The winners in the play-off round plus the losers in the Champions League play-off round(the round that Spurs enter) go into the groups, ok? and we can get Motherwell or any other non-seeded team in a 2 legged knockout match if we draw them tomorrow.

I can only assume that that is the procedure to prevent 2 teams from the same country playing each other, so they will have certain nations in certain pots, that's all, technically we can play any unseeded team as there is no unseeded English team.

According to the City OS we cannot draw (nor can other teams) Teams from the same FA.

In previous years (ie UEFA cup) this (qualifying) round was also regionalised, is that not the case this time ?

Nope. They got rid of that when they changed the UEFA Cup to the Europa League.
