Really confused by Silva not being in it!? I know its only a qualifier but your 25million signing not in the squad is a little weird!

the prevailing view is that he's lacking match-fitness, but I think it's more to do with the fact he's been flying all over the world this summer, s/a, back to spain, off to the usa, a week and a bit at city, then off to mexico, back to city.

makes sense to me to let him get acclimatised and settled in england.

What system is that then? If your saying that then that means that SWP and AJ dont fit in either, because they play in the same position as Bellers. We arent going to play the same formation for every game because we will need to change to rest players or if we get injuries. Bellamy may be 'a disruptive influence' but id rather have someone who is and puts a shift in rather than have 1 who doesnt, ie Robinho. Bellers has proven since he come to the club that he is a very good player, ok not as good as Messi but hes a lot better than players like Jo, Caicedo and RSC and unlike them he will put 110% in every game.

Another thing i dont understand with Mancini is that he plays Jo in every friendly and then doesnt bother to include him in the squad which obviously means that they dont want to cup tie him as he is being sold. Now why not play Guidetti or Nimely more in the warm up games rather than Jo? Before people say, he was playing him to put him the shop window, what a load of bollocks. Scoring goals in friendlies means nothing and will not increase the price or decrease if he doesnt score.

I heard that the deadline for naming the squad was yesterday so that wouldnt be possible. Also why name 23 and fuel speculation and then add Bellers and Ireland to the squad? Just doesnt make sense to me, Mancinin has messed up big time imo
