Was disappointed our game was on telly but have to say it was a fantastic match ( cup final replay), even if like most northerners I was disappointed with the result. I didn't find that out at the time as I was on the open terrace at the Prater getting soaked through to to skin in the second half with 7,967 other souls.

I was dragged by my Mum into town to watch Paint your Wagon. They put the final score up on the screen by some very low tech device. Always remember it as like yesterday.55 years ago today we would probably have just reached Germany seeing that we hitchhiked both ways. ;) How time flies.
