Another vote that's come down to stances on Brexit:
- Labour not clear on where they stand, they will probably go on to back remain now.
- Conservative not a good enough deal, they will probably go all out Brexit now (maybe even no deal depending on the new leader).
Great nights for the Brexit Party, Lib Dems and Greens, good night for SNP as expected and a good result for Plaid Cymru.
Yep. They’ve taken a kicking tonight, as predicted. The logical progression from here is a GE where the Tories campaign on a no deal Brexit, and Labour support a second referendum. Still worry that Corbyn will stubbornly refuse that though.
I think if he does, there is a possibility that a vote of no confidence gets raised against him.
