European U21 Championships

The best team were of course the winners and they dominated every team they faced. Isco and Thiago were the stand outs. Tello, Morrata and their holding mid who's name I cannot remember were exceptional over the course too. I feel like England are a million miles from this level of performance. A drastic overhaul is needed.

Think we need to buy a Liga Adelante club and do what Udinese did to Watford and stock it with our best EDS players, have a Txiki picked coach at that club and let our kids grow playing against the Barca B's who end up producing such good players.

It says to me that although the Championship is very competitive it isn't good enough technically for us to develop our players in. How many loans from big clubs go into the Championship and come back good enough? Hardly any.

Compare Suarez to Roman, one got fuck all opportunity last year and the other played 23 times in the second division in Spain in a setup with other young starlets that suits his development, Roman couldn't have made a better call last summer to leave.

That's not really what Udinese have done the average age of the loanees was about 25, only Vydra (21) and Abdi (26) have a chance of making their first team. Udinese had about 30 players out on loan last season, it seems they buy them then send out on loan hoping they impress so they can sell on at a profit.

yh, I mean in terms of sending a bunch of youngsters in our case out on loan to a league that they can develop technically, which would seemingly be a club in the Spanish 2nd Division.
