The club in question is irrelevant - as you well know but choose to ignore. That ad shows (to anyone willing to think about it) that all clubs require a qualified doctor on staff.

Interesting question. Jon Fearn, who ran onto the pitch with her, was the first team physio. Eva was the club doctor. All the previous managers seemed to like her presence with the first team, Mourinho didn't. Apparently he told the club's Director of Communications he wasn't happy at her presence before the incident. I'm guessing the club's view was that they wanted a properly qualified doctor in attendance in case of serious injury. Players tend to cost a few quid these days.

Is she not properly qualified then? Serious question by the way; not having a pop at you. I always assumed she was, as would be the case at any sporting club. Unless Chelsea, or Mourinho, still lived in the dark ages and believed she wasn't as good as a man would be.

Having studied medicine at Nottingham University, she also practiced her trade in emergency surgery in the Highlands. She then swapped continents to study in Australia, before doing her MSC in London and a subsequent thesis at West Ham.

Her professional career saw her have stints in weekly Sports & Orthopaedic Clinics at Whittington Hospital and the Olympic Medical Institute. This was followed by what was arguably her biggest post yet; being appointed to the UK Sports and Exercise Medicine Specialist training program. Her post saw her working closely with athletes in the UK in the build up to the 2008 Summer Olympics. Eva also worked with the UK women’s football team.

Seeing as they had Martin Edwards peeping under the doors in women's toilets, I doubt they're overly concerned by Maureen's shenanighans

The media coverage has been shameful towards her. This was all about a principle to her, her job, and her sex were being questioned. It's obvious that PEG, (Maybe with rag cash?) has told her to name her price. Notice how Chelsea admitted liability but he hasn't?

The settlement will be more than enough to set her up for a new life/career. It's the only way I would suspect Eva back down. It's keeps Maureen's reputation intact as any blowback from this would have reflected on the cunts and the uneasy rag fans would take that as the cue to demonstrate ala Liverpool (Empty ground etc).
