Spot-on. It was a snidey piece and yet another poor judgement call by this newspaper. There is a difference between legitimate criticism, which is part of any paper's job, and something which alienates your customers. One of the reasons the MEN has become a financial basket case is because its staff are out of touch with their core readership. It is a trend that has been happening for decades. They have also managed to lose thousands of United supporters who used to buy it. It is a matter of getting the tone wrong.
 
Lets just face it they are a shit paper.

They have a headline saying "Lioness Bronze to play v Birmingham on Saturday".

The game is on Sunday which they actually acknowledge near the end of the piece, which has been on their web page for several days now.
 
The MEN has been an embarrassment for years now. The so called journalists trawl Twitter for any snippets and then pass them off as news. They have written at least two Pogba and Sterling pieces a day without saying anything. Journalists? I've seen better quality from my kids.

Bit harsh! Well we have two separate threads covering the MEN nonsense reporting hence my comments as this sort of stuff pees me off - So you're right money where mouth is so I just did, for what its worth - I'm sure they're having a laugh amongst themselves right now. However if they get a number of complaints perhaps they might be arsed with a response.
 
we used to get the salford advertiser but now its changed to the manchester weekly which is basicly the M.E.N and evrey single week we have have recieved it , about 3 or 4 months now , it is utd on the back page and the next 2 pages in then city get a page mixed up with some other minor stories. biased? i would say so.
 
Is it really true that the expanded Etihad will house 55,000 when Chelsea visit ?.

Our record gate was 47,444 for the visit of QPR.(2012) - when the Stadium was officially capable of holding 47,705. - no doubt the missing 256? seats were for segregation - Security(Showsec).etc...
So for us to house 55,000 we need to have increased the capacity by 7,556. (55,000 minus - 47,444), Have we done that?.

Muen is crap anyway...........

They`ve placed additional seats on the North Stand Roof.
