Ever sat in the home end at an away game?

the derby just gone me and my youngest lad, he kept telling me to be quiet so did but could not help a little celebration when bellamy got the third.

was in the main stand at utd just above the exec section. kept fairly quiet for our first but went mental for 2 and 3. was 2 tossers in front of me who got on my tits when they scored so could'nt help myself. nobody said a single word to me at all,not one. if you were in the city end you must have seen me,i stayed stood up jumping around for ages. gary owen was sat about 6 seats down and did nothing when we scored which i can understand.
been in lots of away ends inc liverpool and utd 4 times but the scariest was sheff utd in the first div right in the middle of their cop. i didnt utter a word all game, you just sense when its not wise.

Got two seats for the Bolton game in the 2nd tier main stand (my neices season tickets) I ve used them before but the Stewards can be right arseholes, they just love chuckin people out, I'll have to sit on my hands and keep my gob shut. Had the same seats a couple of years ago for the cup game, we beat them 0-1 with a dubious penalty but it was great to see the City end full and the rest off the ground half empty. The blues outsung them all game and all they had was some monkey on a drum!

Boxing Day 2004 at Everton and we lost 2-1. Missed out on a ticket in the City end so an Everton mate got me tickets in the main stand.

Didn't want to get him into trouble so we sat tight when City scored and just jumped up half-heartedly when they scored. I think the people around us knew we were City fans but we didn't take the piss and they won so we were OK.

The game that Fowler scored and then slapped his head? I was at it as well mate in the same stand as you. In the middle and my reaction was like yours. Infact I remember two City fans near me. Could well have been you and your mate.
Probably me and my son yeah. Wasn't that the game that Negouai came on as sub and got sent off within a few minutes?

Was in the Shitford end when David White suckered a penalty against some neville or other. Couldnn't stop my self, jumped up and screamed 'Yes you get in there'

quickly followed up by, you cheatin bastard -

God knew what I meant

The best bit about being in home end is watching Blues celebrate. It warms your heart.
Nearly got battered by Blues coming out of one grounds home end. Could of been Arse late 70s early 80s.

It was Steve Bruce actually! Curle converted and Whitey should have won it later on.There were tons of Blues in the Utd end that night.

Walked home with a smile, a real smug smile

I did at Loftus Road 03/04. We were playing Fulham and when Reyes scored I jumped up in celebration totally forgetting what end I was sitting in, and to my surprise none of the Fulham fans gave me any stick! Would have been a different story had I been sitting amongst say the scumbag yiddos though no doubt.

Think as long as you can hold it in you'll be alright.
