My brother who is a season ticket holder at City reached Everest Basecamp last November to fulfill his lifetime ambition, on this amazing trek he talks very fondly of all the sherpa's and guides that help hundreds reach there dreams. Sadly as you will all be aware this area has just suffered major devastation through 2 massive earthquakes and many have lost their lives. My brother has decided to try and do his little bit to help these poor people try and rebuild their lives and bring back their lost ones from the mountain. He will be do a sponsored walk in the Lake District to try and reach a donation of £1000 to give towards the appeal.
