Everton have been banned from signing academy players for two years after being found guilty of breaching Premier League recruitment rules.
The Premier League revealed Everton academy staff had offered inducements to a player and his family to encourage him to register with the club.
Everton will not be allowed to recruit any academy player who has registered with another Premier League or Football League club in the preceding 18 months.

The club have also been fined £500,000.

The only ones who don't accept that is kopites themselves. Living down south amongst so many of them its weird how they dont realise the importance of a local derby. They look at united, arsenal, chelsea as their rivals as they have no connection to Merseyside. We need to get stuck into them and just fight and hassle for every ball.

They have a lot in common with our rag friends. We keep on hearing Liverpool is their derby and they are their main rivals which is absolute bollocks. They know it and we know it. Sure there was a time when they were competing head to head with Liverpool and we were never in the equation but City v United is the one. If they beat us at the swamp in April you'll see how much we matter to them.

You go into this game as huge underdogs but as we proved when that was the same in our case of your crowd and players are on it you can upset the applecart.

To any local beating your neighbours is all that matters. I remember watch a you tube video of your Wembley semi final and hearing the cockney rags calling you manc cnuts. They don't even get the irony. They reckon we are all Welsh and to anyone who has been anfield you would never hear a non scouse accent. They live in their own deluded cult like bubble.

Cockney rags are and always have been the absolute scum of the earth.

They do, both clubs separated by a wafer thin margin.
