Good comeback. Shaky moments but they stuck at it. Phil looked to be having fun in the middle. Jack did really well in the first half but ref did him no favours in the second. Bernie his usual self.

My suggestion that a draw would be our best result tonight was solely for the benefit of the EFC fan who is bemoaning the EFC VAR chalked off goal t'other night by Gomez and thinks our pen was a 100mph shot at a hand from two yards away. The false sense of security I was hoping to foster never took hold. He did suggest a final score at 1-0 that matched the FT score perfectly.

Didn't want to say anything in the second half until we wrapped it up, Phil remembered he could shoot from distance and it turned the game around, and finally we managed to close out a game like we usually do and didn't give Everton a sniff, hopefully that's the start of our trademark winning run.

Second half was much better and foden and Bernardo stepped up which showed in rodris improved performance as well.
Walker looked more like himself as well (not at 100% but better)

We will play much better teams however and its worrying how easy some teams are getting in behind us with such ease.

however overall a much better performance especially the second half.

Shame about John Stones but he is made glass

Would have been a tragedy if we hadn't won that game. We were light years ahead of them. Soft goal to concede but we bounced back well and ran out very easy winners in the end. Once we equalised there was only one team going to run out winners. Great support from the City fans - as always.

It made perfect sense - he was fouled twice in succession by players who had already been booked - so must be Jack who gets the yellow card. That's the way we are refereed.

Played first half like we were severely jet lagged but second half Rodri, Phil and Bernie looked like they decided we were winning this.

how bad was that ref today. The yellow for Jack was ridiculous but it wasn’t the only awful decision.

The ref was a fucking disgrace. One set of rules for Everton and one set for us. Absolute ****.
