Some fans saying it was boring but you got to understand Pep way of defending is possession control football, pep could made the subs a bit earlier bottom line those players he brought on was to try win the game without losing much at the back still..

The way we played in the 100 point season I don't think pep will ever go back there to be more open more transitions!

If you win the game a lot of the game is forgotten! The treble season we wasn't great till end of December

I don’t think possession means anything if the other team deliberately give up possession. Especially this season’s city have been vulnerable when in high possession percentage, and actually won comfortably in a few games with low possession rate.
In the 0:4 loss to Spurs City’s procession was 58 against 42, in the 5:1 loss to Arsenal game City’s possession is 55 vs 45.

It is what we do with the possession that gives meaning..Possession means that we have generally seen greater control, defensive stability and passing completion in the last 5 games. Possession is Pep's basic main coaching tactic although it can be boring and also unsuccessful without penetration- through the lines or down the wings. But if carried out to his exact instructions more opportunities to score will arise with the possession platform.
