Everton 3-3 Manchester City

Manchester City avoided defeat in a Premier League game despite trailing by 2+ goals as late as the 82nd minute for the first time since March 2012 against Sunderland (3-3).

That year, City pipped United to the title on goal difference.

ITS the Goonies TURN!!

Something stinks

Arsenal should been red.
Everton should been red.
Ref allowed Everton to leave Something on us.
Why arent Everton in the top 4 ?
Because they aren't very good. Lust like so many other teams we've dropped points from winning positions against. In fact the bottom half has lots of teams we've dropped points against.

I thought, apart from 15 minutes or so, we were very good. We simply haven't been able to defend a lead all season whereas Arsenal have. We've also had a tendency, not only to shoot ourselves in the foot, but to collapse to a second goal quickly thereafter. That's not the mark of champions but we are close.

Guehi cost us the title.

Shit performance. Shit point
Guehi had a brain fart moment, that's all. He's been a fantastic signing who gives us a hell of a lot more than he costs us and it's downright wrong to blame him for costing us the title. But hey, you have form for negative posts.

They've got 2 teams in the bottom 3 and a team who will be contesting a Euro Final 4 days later so will be playing a reserve team....I'd rather have their games!!

Football mate. Us more than anybody know anything can happen.

Let's see how Arsenal fancy having to win away to Palace on the final day of the season to win the league. Because we almost fucked it against QPR.

Look I'm not saying they aren't now huge favourites but it's football and they are Arsenal.

Same shit different day.
There’s a title to be won and we put a second half performance in like that.
Not for the first time.
I’d say we’re still 6 players off where we need to be.
This is one of the worst leagues I can remember and we still look piss poor in it.
Lazy and mentally weak.
Anyone who doesn’t think this squad is lazy I suggest you go back and watch some of the centurions season.
we’re so far off it it’s not even funny.
We’re an eternity away from what we once was.
Maybe it is time for Pep to go cos these players are getting away with murder.
We don’t press like we used to.
We don’t work hard like we used to.
We don’t work hard to find space like we used to.
We used to concede and our first thought was to get the ball and work our bollocks off until we scored.
Now they all look at each other and our heads drop.
We used to be mentality monsters.
We thrown all the years of building away in 18 months.
Fucking appalling what we’ve become after what we were.
I don’t wanna hear that we used to be shit or what we’ve won previously.
We’ve spent hundreds of millions of pounds, pay huge wages, have an elite setup and have one of the greatest managers of all time.
These performances are not acceptable.
How many times this season have we strolled out for the second half?
How many times have we put in lazy half arsed performances only for us to run around like idiots with 5 minutes to go cos we need a goal.
Mentally weak and lazy.
In case you haven’t noticed I’m fucking fuming.
You’ve literally just spent the first half of your post talking about the past and then said nobody can come back at you and talk about the past?

We’re in a rebuild. This has happened every single time before. A team dominates the league, players get old/move on, the club then rebuilds its squad and goes again. The usual timeframe is 2 seasons off it. Ferguson did it on 3 occasions where the Rags would win 2/3 leagues in a row, then fall away to 2nd or 3rd whilst he rebuilt and then would come back and win again.

We’re in that now.

I’m sure that idiot carragher was talking about this before, and he thought it was in a title race with Liverpool

The drop off from an 80% Rodri is too big. It's as simple as that. Do we know if he'll be fit for the weekend?
It really is hard to fathom the difference Rodri makes. We all know it, but still some times I think, hes not fast, he hasn't got a great 'engine', he doesn't split defences like Kevin or David etc etc but what a fukcin player. How does he do it ?, We are like a PC without a CPU when he's out.We just look ragged, chaotic and all over the frickin shop without him. This is especially the case when we play with two wingers, those two midfielders are critical, even against a dog n duck Everton, FFS. I'm not that big a fan of Anderson but hopefully he will come in and make the difference we need. Nico OR and Nico G both looked way off tonight....
