Everton (A) | Post Match Thread

A slow start but after the 1st went in, we were extremely professional and Everton didn’t lay a glove on us.

Foden and Mahrez were both excellent in the 1st half.

Defence looked solid.

Rodri ran the show in the middle of the park.

Haaland being Haaland. How he didn’t get a pen after being punched by Pickford is beyond belief.

Alvarez was quiet and a bit sloppy in possession.

Gundo with 2 worldies and a beautiful assist.

An absolute canter when all is said and done. Could have been a tricky one, never came close.

Great win at a difficult away ground !!

A little concerning how tired both our fullbacks (Walker and Akanji) and Rodri were at the end of the game. They'll be tested heavily by Real.

At the end of the day it was a comfortable win, perfect build to Madrid, come on you blues.

Mikel it's ok, second is a hell of a result

Another 3 points, no injuries and oiled up ready for Wednesday. If Brighton get anything next then a superb weekend all said and done ...

Wow i love those games when we are in total control & my blood pressure stays normal for me .
Gundo what a performance again today motm by a mile !
Welldone Blues ,enjoy the night boys & girls then we go again in midweek .

Just wanted to say…

Taylor can fuck right off.

Letting Mina shitehouse throughout the match, no penalty for a clear punch to the back of Erling’s head by Pickford in the box, and giving their players free rein to kick through our players, especially at the end.

Another example of a ref trying to “balance” the match rather than fairly apply the rules.
That take out on Grealish, (was it him or Dacoure?) where no card was issued, was an awful decision.
