Everton (a) pre-match thread

Starting Vinnie would just waste a substitution. Have him on the bench. The defence has improved lately, leave it as it is.
When he is ready to play feel it would be best if he is on from the start as he would get a proper warm up before the game starts.
I think it's more dangerous to bring players with a track record of injuries like vinny on during a match as they've been on the bench and usually only get a quick warm up and then join the game that's usually at full tempo making the chance of muscle injuries more likely.

I'm sure you'r right but as the poster says, our defence is improving and finding some stability. We'll leave it to he who knows best to make the correct call though

Purely by chance and without coincidence the PL fixture calculator just happens to pick us v Everton on the same weekend it picks Candlepool to meet the Rags. Not that Sky Sports had anything to do with this of course. This gives them all week to big up the other game as "the" major game in English football and of course we are the appetiser before the main course, so to speak hence our earlier kick off time. Great team Liverpool, going great in the League under the brilliant Klopp playing United - really on a roll now under Mourinho, 9 on the bounce....this game will be enjoyed by billions around the world. In the other game, City fans will be dreading the journey along the M62, terrible record on Merseyside, blah, blah, blah to play Everton managed by Koeman, fantastic man, fantastic ex-player. The script has been written for weeks now. Being played out now right on cue.
Hope we fucking smash Everton and the other game is a pile of shite and a 0-0 borefest. Good to see Vinny back and "fit" and presume Sagna hasn't been banned (yet). Looking forward to more magic from Silva.

Ironic because the United-Liverpool game will probably end up 1-1.

It seems Pep's got several options and a lot of fit players available.
Will be interesting if he sticks to the diamond, with Zab in DM again?
Will Kola play CB instead of Stones, maybe to keep the ground quiet?
I expect Bravo in goal. And Komps on the bench.

I hope the story goes on in terms of strong confidence and "belief, belief, belief". Then Everton should have some problems to handle the job.

And well, maybe Chelsea drop points tomorrow at Leicester, with Costa not being in the squad.
Could become a real big game on Sunday then.
